Spencer Schaeffer, DO 1938–2018
Spencer Schaeffer, DO, of Natick, MA, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2018. He is survived by his wife Lydia, his sons Benjamin and Andrew, daughters Stephanie and Patricia, two grandsons, and one granddaughter.
Dr. Schaeffer graduated from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1969 and completed his internship in Dayton, OH in 1970. He has practiced medicine in the greater Boston area since 1970, specializing in osteopathic manipulative medicine. Dr. Schaeffer was a longtime member of the MOS and also held memberships in the AAO and the OCA.
