Advocacy Meeting

Posted January 07, 2019

Dear Massachusetts DOs:

The Massachusetts Osteopathic Society is calling a meeting of all DOs in Massachusetts on Sunday, January 20th to discuss the next steps of the “Protect Osteopathic Medicine” campaign. The AOA leader who handled the non-licensed DO case will be present to help us devise a strategy in contacting our state legislators and getting them on board with our legislative initiative. Our priority is to introduce legislation that will protect osteopathic medicine and prevent individuals from misusing our hard-earned credentials.

It’s REALLY important that we get as many people as possible to come to this meeting. We need steadfast commitment from the entire MA DO community. If we don’t get enough in attendance, then the meeting will not take place, and we won’t be able to achieve our goals in protecting the profession in our state.

Here is when and where the meeting will be held:

MOS-AOA DO Advocacy Meeting
Sunday, January 20th
7pm-10pm
Hampton Inn
15 Connector Road, Westborough, MA 01581
Light appetizers will be provided

Please RSVP to massachusetts@osteopathic.org and let us know you are attending. We also ask that you spread the word to your colleagues in Massachusetts about this meeting and encourage them to come. The MOS is counting on each and every one of you to make this happen, and we can’t achieve this without your help.

We hope to see all of you on January 20th.

Thank you,

William M. Foley, DO, MSc
